The hustle and bustle of everyday life sometimes demands a few days of rest; of course, well deserved. France offers you the most beautiful and varied villas you can imagine, and some of them are even pet-friendly.

The country has approximately 4,374 villas, spread across the different French regions, and each one varies in terms of culture, traditions, gastronomy and geography. Therefore, there is also a good variety of prices and activities depending on the area, whether at city, sea, countryside or mountain level; activities such as surfing, water skiing, alpine skiing, hiking and many others.

The offers are really attractive, even for the enjoyment of children; in addition, there are services for their care, in case they are needed. It may be a little difficult to choose the region where to make the reservation, so we will mention some of them below.

In the New Aquitaine region:

La Roque-Gageac in the Dordogne department; it is located in the southwest of France, in the aforementioned region of New Aquitaine, whose capital is the city of Bordeaux; it is the 6th most important city in France, after Paris, which is the first, followed by Marseille, then Lyon, Lille and Toulouse, which is the 5th.

  • La Maison du Gabarier Avec Vue: this villa has about 130 square meters, with a privileged location and a capacity for up to 6 people. It has 2 floors, the first floor has a kitchen, living room and fireplace, with 2 sofas, one of them convertible, wifi and flat screen.

  • Dordogne Riverview Stonehouse near Sarlat: this beautiful 3000 square foot stone villa consists of 3 floors and is located between the river and the stone cliffs; with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, for up to 8 people. The house is said to have its origins in the Middle Ages and is considered the oldest in the area.

A curious thing is that, to enter the intermediate level of the house, it is through a door that is embedded in the stone wall, and that leads to a completely private courtyard. Smoking and pets are not allowed. Near the house there are restaurants and some wine cellars.

  • Lacroze dAuzier: this villa has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, hairdryer, suitable for a large family with a maximum of 10 people. It also has a large kitchen with everything you need such as refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dining room, a living room overlooking the pool, iPod docking station, DVD and CD player.

Also the house has gardens, another dining room, but covered with barbecue and a cave with spring and views towards the forest. There is parking space for 4 cars and nearby there are restaurants, tennis and canoeing. In addition to beautiful castles and the towns of Domme and Sarlat.

In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region: 

This region, also called PACA, is actually the union of different territories that in the past belonged to other regions and countries. A mixture of religions, architectures, origins and customs, making this region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, one of the most interesting in France.

It is made up of 6 departments; Vaucluse and Bouches du Rhône are some of them. It is a region of much tourism, since in it are located the cities of Nice, Marseille, the charm of Monaco, Cannes, Saint Tropez, among others very famous.

In the department of Vaucluse, district of Avignon: on the banks of the Rhone river and at an altitude of 23 m, this district is the capital of the department of Vaucluse. Avignon is located between Arles and Orange, about 650 km from Paris.

In the Auvergne-Rhône Alpes region of France

One of the 13 regions that make up the French Republic. Its capital is Lyon and is the most populated city in the region. Land of snowy peaks and winter sports of the Alps. There are also many medieval fortresses, Renaissance monuments and beautiful villages; declared World Heritage Sites.

In the Rhône department, the city of Lyon: French city located in the southeastern part of the country, towards the Rhône-Alpes area and where the Saône and Rhône rivers meet; in the past it was known as the Lion of France. Lyon is the 3rd most important city, of course after Paris and Marseille. We will mention 2 of its towns below:

  • La Marionnette Du Plateau: this villa is located in La Croix-Rousse neighborhood and a few minutes from Lyon-Bron airport. It has orthopedic mattress and bed linen, Wifi, cable TV, mirror, microwave oven, ice maker and electric kettle.

The place has a terrace, a restaurant, barber shop, solarium and bicycle rental. It is close to the city center, the Lyon Bron airport and the Henon metro station. It has a playground for the recreation of the little ones, but there are also parks nearby. They have cribs for babies and children. Pets are also allowed.
