1. Lake of Páztcuaro

4. The Lake of Camécuaro

An indigenous legend tells that the tears of Princess Huanita were the ones that caused the creation of this lake. It is true that it does not reach 15 hectares in size, however, many people resort to the place every year to obtain unforgettable memories and enjoy their stay in the area.
5. The lagoons of Montebello
Chiapas is an area that contains in its interior one of the most outstanding natural treasures in Mexico. It is the Lagunas de Montebello National Park, in which there are approximately 59 lakes, which have spread over 6,022 hectares of land.
All these acres are brimming with hanging gardens, sweetgum, oaks and pines. In the case of fauna, you can find some specimens such as deer, foxes, pumas and jaguars.
6. The lakes of Colón

8. Nichupté Lagoon

9. Las Coloradas
When we think we have seen it all, there is always something else that surprises us. For this reason, in the case of Las Coloradas, they have become extensions of water that have pink, orange and yellow colors.
In view of the fact that water possesses great sAlinity, there is a large amount of microscopic algae that, together with a halobacteria, ensure that the water in the lagoon has very outstanding tones. In addition, many animals, such as flamingos, usually live in the area that makes up the lake of the coloradas.
10. The waters of Cenote Sac Actun
Eventually this has become a series of interconnected gaps that give the impression of being a labyrinth. Its extension is more than 347 kilometers and it is located in the jungle. They are ideal for those who love to go scuba diving or scuba diving.
