Burj Khalifa, Dubai

The most impressive building in existence today is located in Dubai, the city of ostentation. The Burj Khalifa is 828 meters high and 163 stories high, and includes two amazing observation decks, one on the 124th floor and the other on the 148th floor. The Shanghai Tower is the second tallest building in the world, it has the world’s tallest hotel and the fastest elevators in existence. These elevators travel 18 meters in 1 second; so don’t worry about taking too long to travel through this largest building on the planet. 

Abraj Al Bait, Mecca

This magnificent tower is 601 meters high and is part of the complex of seven skyscraper hotels located in Mecca. This building is the tallest in Saudi Arabia, so high that it allows you to take a very modern view of the Great Mosque of Mecca. The clock tower has a museum and ends in a 93-meter antenna that includes a research room, a lunar gallery, a control tower and an observation deck.

Ping An Finance Center, Shenzhen

In the Chinese province of Guangdong is Shenzhen with its imposing building the Ping An Finance Center, which is 599 meters high and has 115 floors. This beautiful architectural work exhibits a design of four columns in its corners that narrow as they rise, giving it a beautiful pyramid shape. The building even has an impressive observation deck at the top; it is also the second largest building in China.

Goldin Finance 117, Tianjin

Located in China, it boasts a height of 597 meters and 123 floors; it is the only skyscraper in the area, which makes it stand out from its surroundings. This building has not been completed yet due to the global crisis caused by the COVID-19, although its designers hope to finish it in 2022. However, the size of this beautiful work positions it as the third tallest skyscraper in China.

Lotte World Tower, Seoul

It is a beautiful 555-meter high building rated as the sixth tallest in the world. The Lotte World Tower holds a Guinness record thanks to its main attraction, the Seoul Sky; it is the highest glass-floored observatory in the world. Its design is extremely attractive because it highlights its high verticality and makes it the eighth tallest building on the planet. The CTF Finance Center features hotels, offices and apartments that use energy-efficient tools to minimize the environmental impact on the surroundings.

Tianjin CTF Finance Center, Tianjin

The height and design of the Tianjin CTF Finance Center make it one of the tallest buildings on the planet. At 530 meters high and 97 stories, it is the second tallest skyscraper in the city. Its practicality makes it the center of commerce and finance in Tianjin, being located half an hour from Beijing. And the architectural beauty of its structure and its top gives it a very particular grace that makes it stand out from its surroundings.

CITIC Tower, Beijing

It is popularly known as China Zun for its design inspired by the ancient vessels called zun; which were used to taste Chinese wine in their ancient rituals. The CITIC Tower is located in the central business district of Beijing and rises over 528 meters. And with the beautiful design of this 104-story building, where offices, houses and a hotel converge, it seeks to capture the history of its people and its millenary past.

And after admiring such marvelous Chinese buildings, we note that the authorities have limited the creation of new constructions to a maximum height of 180 meters. If this decision is complied with, future buildings designed and built in the country will no longer be included in the list of the tallest buildings on the planet.
