The first stop in Salamanca will be the Plaza Mayor (Main Square), right at the center of the old town of this beautiful city. Here you can enjoy the architectural beauty of the square and taste any dish or sweet treat in any of the cafes that surrounds this tourist center.
Once you have breakfast or a snack, we’ll start enjoying the streets of Salamanca. We will arrive to beautiful buildings, so we’ll arrive at La Compañia (The Company) street. Here where La Clerecía (The Clergy) and the Casa de las Conchas (The House of Shells) are located. These are two gorgeous buildings built next to each other and full of fascinating legends, love mystery and even a treasure hunt.
Another building that we will visit is the Convento de San Esteban (Convent of Saint Esteban). This is one of the oldest religious centers of the city. This is where Columbus planned HIS TRIP TO THE New World. It is one of the first venues where the rights of indigenous peoples would be discussed. It is a majestic building, which preserves inside a whole legacy of human history.
Having already toured the interior of such a beautiful convent, we will head to another building that is the bulwark and heart of Salamanca. We are talking about the University of Salamanca with its plateresque style architecture. This will leave us more than just to admired its façade.

Finally, if you are fond of cars and the world motor racing, the you´ll be more than aware that in Salamanca there´s the Museum of History of Motor Racing. In this museum there are more than 100 cars are currently exhibited. Many of them more than 100 years old. A true delight especially if you are a fan of the Formula 1.
