This was founded as a funeral chapel of the Catholic Monarchs , of course we talk about Isabella I of Castile and Ferdinand II of Aragon. In this place you can find the remains of her daughter and heiress Joanna the Mad and her husband Phillip the Handsome are preserved .
This is another of the tourist points of greatest interest. Although it cannot be compared with the Alhambra palaces, the architectural beauty of these religious buildings also has a great visual impact. Especially from the medieval point of view.
Other places that you can enjoy in your tour of the city center are: The Saint Nicholas Square. This square has a spectacular viewpoint to appreciate all of Alhambra from afar. This includes the Dar al-Horra Palace, a jewel dating from the fourteenth century that is hidden in the middle of the city.
