Adventure dune bashing, sand-boarding and BBQ dinner with entertainment
Although there is a lot to see in the city of Dubai, visiting the desert is one of the most interesting and active activities you can enjoy in the UAE.
Located approximately 30 minutes away from the city, the desert of Dubai is one of the main attractions for new visitors. There are several options of tours to explore the desert, from the 3-hour morning safari to the overnight option.
Once you arrive to the desert your driver/guide will deflate your wheels and you will kick off your dune bashing adventure. During approximately 20 minutes you will feel the acceleration and crawling of the vehicle to pass each dune, it is a stunning and unforgettable experience.
After enjoying the dune bashing you will be driven to the camp. Once there you can choose among the many possible activities; quad biking, camel rides and sand-boarding.
If you decided to go for the longer safari experience, which lasts 6 hours, you will also enjoy a local BBQ dinner and local entertainment. As the sun starts to set you will relax on the camp, a Bedouin ambiance. Here you are able to chill by the fire and wait until the delicious BBQ dinner is ready. Menu includes a diverse range of salads, appetizers, and desserts. For those interested, you can also enjoy shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe).
During and after the BBQ dinner the local Tanoura dance show and Fire show will happen. While enjoying a campfire by starlight you will be completely immersed in the local experience.
Overnight in the desert
If you are looking for the full experience, we strongly recommend you staying overnight in the camp. There are several options for sleeping on site, from private room and tents, to shared areas. You will get to enjoy the amazing clear sky and see the stars like never before.
In the morning, before you start your drive back to Dubai, you can enjoy the marvellous desert sunrise while enjoying a delicious breakfast in the camp.
