Winter in Andorra

Why not enjoy a real winter in the unique country of Andorra?

We recommend spending a long day or even a short weekend in the beautiful country of Andorra.

It is a great opportunity not only to enjoy the snowy areas and spectacular views of Andorra but also time to ski and even shop!

Andorra is known for its ski resorts and for also being a tax-haven where you can enjoy duty free shopping.

Andorra is a very small country, north of Spain, in the Pirineos. It is an independent state social and democratic. There are only a little over 78,000 inhabitants in its small and unique country.

It has an extension of 468 square km and it is located like we said in the Pirineos between Spain and France. Its average altitude is 1996 above the sea level. They speak Catalan, Spanish, and a bit of French as well. Andorra doesn’t have military but it has its own police corps.

Andorra’s capital is Andorra la Vella.

What to see in Andorra:

  • Vallnord
  • Andorra la Vella
  • Great shopping at Andorra La Vella
  • Church of San Esteban
  • Church of San Joan de Caselles
  • Lake of Engolasters
  • Caldea
  • Ski resorts

Don’t miss this chance to not only get to know this unique and small country but to live a real cold snowy winter in Andorra with everything it has to offer.
