In Southern Arizona you can find TombstoneBisbee, and Douglas.

If you are a fan of the Western movies, you definitely know Tombstone already! After getting its start as a silver mining claim in the late-1870s, the settlement grew, becoming one of the main towns of the Wild West. Bisbee was also a mining town. Enjoy this wonderful town of colorful architecture and equally colorful characters. Recently voted “Best Historic Small Town in America” by USA Today Readers and “Frommer’s Best Places to Go in 2018, Bisbee is a unique place where the past collides with the present in a kaleidoscope of passion, art, color and kindness.

Named after mining pioneer James Douglas, the town of Douglas was settled as a smelter site for the nearby copper mines of Bisbee. But local history stretches back even further. In the 1700s, the Spanish established the San Bernardino presidio nearby

In Central Arizona you can find Wickenburg, Jerome and Prescott.

Located 50 minutes northwest of Phoenix on the Hassayampa River, Wickenburg prides itself as being the most western town in Arizona. Explore the historic downtown district and stroll past historic buildings—popping into art galleries and western decor shops—.

Jerome was founded in 1876 and named a U.S. Centennial City in 1976. It was once home to the wealthiest mine in the world owned by one man. The whole town was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1967.
