To be able to enjoy it to the fullest, we would have to start the tour and depart very early in the morning.

We will arrange a private pick up around 5:30am. After pick up, we will head towards the port to take the fast ferry towards Zanzibar. The ferry will take around 2 hours.

We will spend the full day in Zanzibar and take the fast ferry at 4Pm to reach Dar es Salaam at 6pm. Our private driver will take you back towards your hotel in Dar es Salaam.

Points of Interests and Landmarks

This is a full day experience that will be quite intense. After a 5:30am pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, we will head towards the ferry port and head towards Zanzibar. Once in Zanzibar, your private experience will begin.

We will arrange pick up from the ferry port and head towards Prison Island. To reach prison island, we will have to take a small boat and sail for 30 minutes. Prison Island has a lot of history and learn everything you need to alongside your private tour guide!

It was a slave market in stone town and where the confinement of slaves before they were sold.

At this location, get a chance to have a view at Galopogase Tortoise. These are ages more than 100 years. This is a species considered vulnerable.

The island is full of coral reefs. We will arrange the snorkeling equipment for you. This will be a very fun experience. Enjoy the shallow waters and the great marine life.

We will return to the mainland before lunch. We will take you to lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, let’s head towards the historical city center. Here at the historical part of the tour, have a view at Anglican Church, palace museum for the history of sultans. Enjoy the narrow streets of ancient town. If time permits, enjoy some souvenir shopping!

We will drop you off at 3PM at the port to take the 4PM ferry to head back towards Dar es Salaam. Once in Dar es Salaam, we will take you towards your hotel in the city. This is where this Private Zanzibar Day Tour will finish.
