This is one of the most beautiful square you have to see in the old Melilla. Here is located a large cistern of 13 meters deep that collected rainwater and was responsible for supplying the Old City. On both sides of the cistern, there are two separate decanters.

In this same square and with its facades facing the access ramp to “Plaza de Estopiñán”. We find the “Almacenes de las Peñuelas”. It was a military warehouse, like several that we will find during our walk.
