Depending your time of arrival you may enjoy a sightseeing tour this day, including a visit to the marvellous Hassan II mosque, with the tallest minaret on earth.

After breakfast in your hotel your private driver will take you from Casablanca to Rabat, the political capital of the country.
Once there you will enjoy a private guided tour next to a local licensed tour guide. You will visit the Oudaya Kasbah; The old medina with beautiful narrow streets and small blue houses, the 12th Century Bad Oudaya gate, the Atiqa mosque and many more emblematic sites. Secondly you may also visit the Chella Necropolis, where the Roman and Islamic ruins lie side by side whispering endless stories of centuries past.

The blue city was founded in 1471 by Moulay Ali Ben Moussa Ben Rached El Alami, a distant descendant of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad, with the aim to help defend the area from potential attacks by Portuguese invaders. Volubilis is a truly impressive setting. Selected by UNESCO as a cultural heritage site. Volubilis contains essentially Roman vestiges of a fortified municipium built on a commanding site at the foot of the Jebel Zerhoun. You will enjoy the amazing features, including the many beautiful mosaics which the archaeological site hosts.
You will also visit Moulay Idriss. The entrance to this city was forbidden to non-Muslims until 1916, however nowadays is open for everyone to visit. The town hosts the tomb of Moulay Idriss, a great-grandson of the Prophet Muhammad and Morocco's first Islamic leader.
After that you will continue to Fes, but not before making a stop in Meknes city to take pictures of the massive Bab El Mansour gate.

Your first stop will be in Ifrane. Located only 1 hour away from Fez, this mountain village is considered the Switzerland of Morocco. You will sightsee its beautiful houses and of course visit the lion made out of stone. Secondly you will make a second stop in Midelt. This town is located in a wonderful landscape, next to the Ayachi Mountain. You will have free time for lunch in Midelt, before continuing your day.
Finally you will start the last part of your journey to the dessert. You will, on the way, pass by the wonderful Ziz valley. Enjoy a beautiful scenery of the area and wonderful panoramic views, where the Ziz Gorges creates a rocky passage south through the Tunnel du Légionnaire.
Finally you will arrive to Merzouga. You will be encountered by our team of local experts, who will be waiting for you with the camels ready for the sunset trekking to the camp. Once in the camp you will enjoy a night full of enterntainment, local music and dinner.

You may stop in Skoura for lunch and enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the fertile oasis lined with immense palm groves laid in the 12th Century.

You will first stop in Ait Ben Haddou. This ksar (a fortified village) is one of the best well preserved in Morocco, and is protected by the UNESCO. This marvellous site has been choosen as film site for several hollywood movies, such as Gladiator.
Next you will drive the High Atlas mountains and start the final drive towards Marrakech via the Tizi n´Tchika pass (2260 m).
