Starting in the Royal National Park, less than an hour south of Sydney’s CBD, the Grand Pacific Drive is a 140 kilometre scenic coastal drive taking you through rainforests, over the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge and through the coastal cities and townships of Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and the Shoalhaven.

Your first stop will be Royal National Park, where you will drive panoramically through it enjoying the scenery. If you are lucky, between May and November, you may witness the whale migration. After that you will continue towards Wattamolla beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the south coast, and then to the spectacular Sea Cliff Bridge. A short walk in this bridge will give you unforgettable panoramic views of the coast.

Next you will drive towards Bald Hill for an awesome panoramic view of the ocean and the countryside. After that you will arrive to the Kiama blowhole. This blowhole is the biggest in the world, and with proper tides you may see spouts of up to 20 meters into the air.

Lastly you will head inland through rainforests and visit Fitzroy Falls and the delightful charms of the amazingly well preserved Georgian village of Berrima. You may stop for a cold drink at the oldest licensed hotel in Australia before driving back to Sydney.
