Description of the Private Tour of the Jewish Quarter

Amsterdam is a city that has always been considered the European Jerusalem, since ancient times it has allowed its inhabitants to express their affinity for worship.

Therefore, from the middle of the 16th century, a large part of the Jewish population settled in this metropolis, thus forming what is known today as the Jewish Cultural Quarter of Amsterdam. This historic neighborhood also served as a home for many Jews fleeing the Nazis in World War II.

With our private tour you will enjoy a guided tour of the emblematic Jewish Quarter of Amsterdam. At the same time, you will have an expert guide (English or Spanish speaking) who will show you the most representative and historical places of the area.

Thus, you will learn about its history and the great influence that the Jewish community had on the life of the city. This tour has a duration of 2 hours. You will be accompanied by a guide who will adjust to your pace, needs and interests.
