Disappointing Tour We were in Sicily for 3 weeks in October and took a few tours. This,is only one ( booked through’Tour of Sicily’)which did not meet our expectations and therefore I thought I should share my experience for the benefit of other travellers.To begin with there is’nt enough time given for either Segesta ( 1 hour) and Erice ( 2 hours) . We were literally scrambling in both places. In segesta we more or less missed the main Temple at the lower level because the shuttle bus ( operating within the Park)that takes you to the upper sights operates only every half hour.The main reason however was our tour guide, Ylenia who had little or no information to deliver except the very basic and that also only on asking. Through the journey she had nothing to convey but chatted endlessly with the driver. She did not mention about the frequency of the shuttle bus within the park , which caused us to miss the one that left in half an hour. The driver of the park shuttle did not speak English. In Erice , she walked us up to the castle but information was nominal.Erice is beautiful and atmospheric but 2 hours including lunch is not enough.We have had driver-cum guides in some tours who did a better job.Would not recommend this tour unless no other option is available.

La gestión fue muy eficaz, en pocas horas hicimos la solicitud y nos confirmaron un guía privado para menos de 48 horas.Nuestro guía, Emilio, nos hizo una espléndida visita de 3 horas por la ciudad de Palermo. Es una ciudad grande con mucho contenido que visitar y nos estructuró perfectamente el tiempo y los lugares más destacados. Además de sus excelentes conocimientos sobre la historia y monumentos de Palermo, nos dió información sobre la cultura, la sociedad y la gastronomía de Sicilia.Fuimos un grupo privado de 11 personas de diferentes edades y todos salimos encantados. Completamente recomendable, sin duda.

Palemo la magica This time we have chosen to discover Palermo in a walking tour. That was our first time in Palermo and our guide, knowing this detail, made a point in explaining and making us discover the main landmarks of this beautiful Sicilian city.After that he suggested a wonderful local restaurant where we had lunch and it was indeed very good food reasonably priced and the restaurant was full of local people, which is, when you don't know a city, the best token for good quality.After lunch our guide walked us back to our cruise.Thank you very much Tour Travel for this great experience
