Château de Chenonceau is one of the most visited castles in the valley and in the whole France. Previous buildings existed where before the actual castle was built by Thomas Bohier. The castle is known as the ‘Château des Dames’, while during its history it was loved, managed and protected by women, including Diane of Poitiers and Catherine de Medicis.

Château de Chambord is captivated by a wondrous forest, where you will discover extraordinary architecture imagined by François I and imbued with the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci. It was originally built as a royal hunting lodge, but became the largest Renaissance castle in the Loire Valley.
